Interlaken Municipal Elections November 4, 2025

To qualify as a candidate, you must:

  1. Be a U.S. Citizen at the time of filing.

  2. Be a registered voter.

  3. Be a resident of Interlaken Town for at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.

  4. In accordance with Utah Constitution Article IV, Section 6, any mentally incompetent person, any person convicted of a felony, or any person convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise may not hold office in this state until their right to hold elective office is restored.

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Interlaken Town will be holding elections for the following three positions:

  • Mayor – 4-year term

  • Council Member – 4 year term

  • Council Member – 4 year term

 

Elected officials are sworn in and begin serving their terms on January 1, 2026.

 

Interested, qualified individuals may complete the Declaration of Candidacy form and meet with the Town Clerk between June 2, 2025 and June 9, 2025 (note, the last date to declare is June 9th). Please contact the Town Clerk, Bart Smith, at 435-565-3812 (voice), 206-851-2053 (text) or via email at admin@interlakenut.gov if you are interested in becoming a candidate, and to make an appointment. Meetings will take place at 326 Luzern Rd., Midway. An advanced appointment is required. The preferred meeting dates are Monday, 6/2/25 through Friday, 6/6/25 due to scheduling challenges.
